Baked Tortilla Chips

It's inevitable- if it's taco night, there must be chips and salsa on the table, right? And do your kids end up eating mainly chips and salsa for dinner? Mine, too. So why not give them a healthier alternative in these baked tortilla chips? I often make tortilla strips to serve with taco soup and they're so incredibly easy, there's no reason I can't whip up a batch of chips on a regular basis.

Baked Tortilla Chips

corn tortillas
canola or olive oil
salt
seasoned salt, chili powder, whatever you want!

Preheat oven to 375. Cut corn tortillas in half, then cut the halves into thirds. Drizzle with canola oil and sprinkle with salt. Toss gently to coat each chip with oil and seasoning. Place on baking sheets and bake 8-12 minutes, until golden brown and crispy. Let cool slightly before devouring.
