I've been having a lot of kitchen envy lately. All those big, airy, clean, all-white kitchens are so appealing to me. But then, so are the warm, cozy, inviting kitchens.
I love my kitchen. This kitchen sold me on this house. So I spent some time today reminding myself of what a great kitchen it is, and appreciating some of the little touches that I love.
I plan on spending a LOT of time here this weekend. And for YEARS to come.
I just discovered your blog - excellent food!
ReplyDeleteI have to ask -- are you growing Basil in that huge coffee mug? If so, please tell me how! Is natural light needed? What did you do? THANK YOU!! frommytinykitchen@yahoo.com
Thanks, Kristen! I wish it had survived, but sadly, no. I bought it from Target and it comes with the roots still in dirt, so I hoped that I could keep it alive. But I don't have enough sunlight in my kitchen. I do grow basil in a pot outside during the summertime, though. I would LOVE to have it on hand at all times because I would use it so much- my family loves it.
